Student absenteeism has become a growing concern nationwide, with more than 1 in 4 students being consider chronically absent. Chronic absenteeism is when a student misses at least 10 percent (18 days - excused or unexcused) of the school year. The students at MMS have really been working hard to make ATTENDANCE MATTER this year. We had 101 students with perfect attendance during the month of April! We only have 17 days of school attendance left!
