The football game was a big event today, but there are other parts of our school and community that are rocking it too!
Big shout out to Brandon Chappell! He is the voice of Meridian Football. He is the one you hear in the press box making the announcements for the game and for general information. He is such an important part of all of our home games. We are lucky to have him. Thanks Brandon!
The cheerleaders keep the energy going all game. They practice for countless hours to be the voice for our teams and to keep the community spirit going. The players should be very thankful for them. Big shout out to Coach Bickel and Coach Marion. Thank you girls and good job!
Dr. Raymond has the band sounding great this year. They are "locked-in" to all the games and they have a great feel for when to play their music to keep things bumping. Great job band...you sound great and getting better as we go!
Our Booster Club members and volunteers may be the busiest group off all. They have a well- oiled machine in the concession stand to make sure you have salty popcorn, a fully loaded nacho, and your favorite sugary drink ready to go when you need it. A true definition of behind the scenes workers.
New to this game was our "end zone couch club" made up of various rowdy fans. Thanks for your support students and we hope to carry on this tradition next year.
Hawk Nation, thank you for all of your support and dedication to our school this Fall. Good luck to our soccer team today as they play for a regional championship. Good luck to our volleyball team on Monday as they begin post-season. Good luck to the football team today was we look for a playoff berth.
Stay tuned everyone!!
