Tomorrow's GBB game against Sullivan has been postponed (October 12). The game was rescheduled to Monday, November 8 at 6:00 p.m. at home.
The girls' basketball games scheduled for tomorrow (10/9) against Nokomis have been postponed.
Tomorrow (Friday) is an early dismissal. MMS students will be dismissed at 11:10 a.m. and should have transportation arrangements made prior to arriving at school. We DO have school on Monday, October 11 (Columbus Day).

SCHEDULE CHANGE: Tonight's girls' basketball games against Johns Hill will be played at HOME. The 7th grade game will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the 8th grade game to follow. Make plans to come out and cheer on the Hawks!
Did you know that socks are one of the items needed most in the homeless community around the United States? During the month of October, MMS Student Council will be hosting a Socktober Sock Drive to benefit the Northeast Community Fund. New socks can be dropped off in Mrs. Moyer's room between October 1 - 29. Thank you in advance for contributing to this annual drive!

Conditioning for boys interested in trying out for basketball will begin this week! Conditioning will take place in the MMS gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. There will NOT be conditioning on evenings of home girls' basketball games. Due to a staffing shortage for district transportation, various bus routes will be impacted regarding their normal pick up and drop off times. Middle School & High School Library Aide: Meridian CUSD #15 has an immediate opening for a Middle School and High School Library aide position (Macon campus library). This job included coordinating student Chromebook services for 6th-12th grade services and applicants should be familiar with basic technology tools. The MMS baseball game that was scheduled to be played this evening (8/25) has been canceled. The game will be played tomorrow (8/26) in Pana at 4:30 p.m. The bus will leave at 3:30 p.m.
Baseball players will have practice after school today.
School picture day will take place on Monday, August 23 in Macon. MMS pictures can be ordered online at inter-state.com/order using order code: 59177PB. Order forms are also available in the office! All students will have their pictures taken for this year's yearbook.
Our 1st day of school for students is tomorrow - Wednesday, August 18. Tomorrow is a 1:30 p.m. dismissal. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in their Back to School Bests!
