Meridian Preschool Screening Meridian School District will hold preschool screenings for the 2020-2021 school year on March 26th & March 27th. If you live in the Meridian school district and have a child who will be 3 or 4 years of age by September 1st, 2020, they are eligible to be screened for this free program. Screening will take place at Meridian Elementary School located at 509 Lewis St. in Blue Mound. Screening appointments begin at 8:00 a.m. Children are tested on concepts, motor skills, and language skills. Parents will bring required documents and fill out pre-k paperwork while children are being tested. You may set up an appointment starting March 9th by calling the Meridian Elementary School office at 692-2535. Screening does not guarantee a spot in the program. If your child is already enrolled in pre-k, they will not need to be rescreened.
