The initial school supply list had a typo that probably made you question what type of earbuds are needed for next year. MMS students need WIRED earbuds (not wireless or Bluetooth). They don't need anything fancy, and we ask that AirPods (and other valuable gadgets) be left at home!
The entire list of school supplies can be found here - https://5il.co/3lxnv
MMS Softball and Baseball are starting soon. Please be sure you are connected to the coach on the SportsYou app. Once signed up, you will receive important reminders about getting physicals and schedule information.

The following coaching positions are still vacant for the 25-26 school year. Please share!

Please see the attached posting for job opportunities with Meridian Schools.

If you like to get an early start on school supply shopping, the list for MMS can be found here - https://5il.co/3kgi8
Tryouts for our fall sports are right around the corner. If your athlete is interested in trying out, make sure to save these dates and schedule a physical! The required 6th grade health physical counts as the sports physical.
Please direct questions to the appropriate coach -
Softball: Coach Butler butlerg@meridianhawks.net
Baseball: Coach Britton brittonb@meridianhawks.net

Elementary and middle school girls enjoyed working on skills at volleyball camp with the MHS team this week!

Our Hawks worked hard to finish the year strong. Congratulations to all our middle school students who made 4th quarter Academic Honors!

We have a middle school assistant volleyball coaching opportunity for next year.

If you have an incoming 6th - 8th grader interested in trying out for the MMS baseball team, put these dates on your calendar & join SportsYou for updates!

4th Quarter/2nd Semester grades are finalized and posted on TeacherEase. To access the report card through the app, go to More (bottom right) --> Report Cards.

We are proud of our students for finishing the year strong during the month of May on IXL. Congratulations to those who were on the Math and ELA leaderboards!
Students will continue to have access to IXL over the summer. This is a great way for them to continue to work on skills to prepare for next year. A summer leaderboard has been created for students to continue to compete until school resumes in August!

Next year's 6th - 8th grade girls interested in playing basketball for MMS are encouraged to attend the scheduled open gyms this summer!

We still have a few teaching and coaching opportunities available for next school year!

It is hard to believe that the last day of the 24/25 school year is tomorrow! It is a 1:30 p.m. dismissal for the Macon Campus. We are looking forward to the end-of-year activities planned for the different grade levels!

Our students who "maxed out" this year on IXL were treated to Mattie's for lunch with Mrs. Rhoades!
