The Hawks kicked off their season this afternoon with a 14-0 WIN against the Nokomis Braves! Their HOME OPENER is scheduled for tomorrow at 4:15 p.m. against Stephen Decatur. We hope to see you in Macon to cheer on our Hawks!

The building will continue to be open this week during office hours (8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) for students to practice locker combinations, drop off supplies, and tour the building. To help accommodate work schedules, the building will also be open from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday. If your child would like a paper copy of their schedule, stop by the office!
We are looking forward to the students returning on Monday, August 19. The first day of school is a 1:30 p.m. dismissal. As a reminder, bus riders will be dropped off at the middle school entrance and car riders should be dropped off at the high school entrance. The doors will open each morning at 7:25 a.m.

Online registration through TeacherEase will open tomorrow! Please login to your account and register your students. If you have any questions, please call or stop by the office between 8:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Registration for new students will take place in person on Tuesday, August 6 from 8:00 - 3:00 p.m. If your child will be a new student at Meridian, make sure to bring the required residency documents when you come to register (https://core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/763499/Residency_Affidavit.pdf).

The 7th & 8th grade bands will be returning to Busch Stadium on Sunday, September 8 to perform at the Cardinals vs. Mariners game! As a fundraiser for the Music Boosters, this is a fun opportunity to support the MMS music program while also enjoying some baseball with Meridian fans. The ticket cost is $35 and includes a free jumbo hot dog and soda! To purchase tickets, email Mr. Edwards (edwardsc@meridianhawks.net) or Becca Kraft (rkraft2008@gmail.com) by Tuesday, August 20.
