Upon entry of a Meridian HS or MS athletic event, each student will receive a raffle ticket. Students will write their name on the back of the ticket and turn it into the concession stand for that game. At the end of the semester, each school (MES, MMS, MHS) will draw names for winners. There is an informational meeting about next year's Music Department Trip to Orlando on Tuesday (November 25) at 6:00PM in the Auditorium. Any 8th - 11th grader involved in music or would like to be in Band or Choir next school year is invited to attend. No experience required! Parents/guardians should also attend!

Students have another opportunity to spend their hard earned Hawk Bucks this week in the Hawk Buck Fall Raffle. Tickets can be purchased during both lunch periods for $10 Hawk Bucks/ticket for a chance at various items. Winners will be announced on Friday morning!

There will be a drama club meeting during study hall tomorrow. This meeting is for anyone interested in being a part of the cast or crew of this year's MMS play.
The fundraiser cash incentive envelopes will be drawn during the lunch periods on Thursday. Students who sold at least 10 raffle tickets will receive anywhere from $1 - $100! In addition, students who sold 50 or more tickets will receive $50!

The 2nd quarter midterm is Friday! Midterm reports will be sent home with students receiving a below average grade in any Core subject on Tuesday, November 25.

Students are currently learning how to use Photoshop to blend objects in Mr. O'Brien's Computer Images & Video class. We are looking forward to seeing what kind of hybrid animals they create with this project!

Last night we were able to celebrate our 8th grade girls, as their regular season begins to come to an end.
This year's 8th grade basketball players are: Caitlin Burgess, Hayden Crist, Jensen Dawson, Zada Dudley, Bella Durbin, Ella Hilton, Khloe Leffler, Attison McNeely, and statistician, Aleeah Armour.

This week's Hawk Proud SHOUT OUT goes to Jensen D! Jensen's willingness to help out definitely doesn't go unnoticed. From jumping in to help clean up after the MES Veteran's Day program to being one of the last kids hanging around while picking up after any sporting event, we appreciate the young leader that she is!
