Mr. Snively’s science classes continued their learning about computer programming by coding a robot (classmate) to follow a sequence of steps to stack cups. They also used Ozobots, tiny robots, to develop their understanding of computer programming. All of the 5th grade classes will continue to work on computer programming and STEM activities on select days throughout the remainder of the school year.

Half of the 5th grade students spent the afternoon singing holiday favorites at the Eastern Star Home in Macon. The residents enjoyed listening to the students, and after they were finished, the students visited with the residents. This was part of the 5th grade “Afternoon of Service” to give back to our community.
