Today is the statewide principal appreciation day. As a principal, so much of your time is spent fulfilling other people's needs, both students and staff. Principals have such a demanding job day in and day out. Thank you to a GREAT administrative team at Meridian! Mrs. Guebert, Mrs. McGuire, and Mr. Hurelbrink, your leadership is so appreciated.

Little Hawks had a great time at their Weenie Roast!!

5th graders had a great time reading with their kindergarten buddies today!

For our K-5 1st quarter lesson Mrs. Rhodes visited all classrooms and talked about growth mindset. Having a positive attitude and believing in yourself. We read the book, "The Magical Yet" by Angela DiTerlizzi. Each student then came up with something they can't do (YET) and added it to our board. "So no matter how big (or old) you may get, you'll never outgrow-you'll never forget-you can always believe in the magic of yet."

Congratulations to Mr. Snively for being honored this morning by Y103 as September Teacher of the Month!!
