6th and 7th grade award ceremonies will take place on Wednesday, May 12 in the MMS gym. The 6th grade ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. (doors open at 5:40) and the 7th grade ceremony will begin at 7:15 p.m. (doors open at 6:55). Only those students receiving an award should attend (email invitations were sent last week). Please plan to enter through the MMS entry and do not plan to arrive prior to when the doors will open. Students will sit in the chairs located on the gym floor and guests will sit in the bleachers. All visitors must wear a mask correctly while in the building. We are looking forward to celebrating the academic achievements of our students this year!

The MMS/MHS Spring Chorus Concert will take place in the auditorium at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2. Chorus participants should report to Ms. Hagan's room at 12:40 p.m. Due to indoor capacity guidelines, only parents/guardians should plan to attend. Please remember that all guests should wear a mask properly while inside the building.

MMS will be IAR testing each morning on April 13-15 and April 20-21. For each session, students should have charged Chromebooks, wired earbuds or headphones, and a book to read. In addition, cell phones and smart watches will not be allowed in testing locations. They should either be stored in secure locations or kept at home!

MMS Scholastic Bowl at Monticello has been canceled tonight (2/16) due to the inclement weather.
Tomorrow (2/16) is an emergency remote learning day due to the inclement weather. All work will be posted on Google Classroom by 8:00 a.m. for students to complete. If you are interested in picking up a lunch for your child, please email mcguirem@meridianhawks.net by 9:00 p.m. (2/15). Meals will not be available at satellite locations. Tomorrow (Wednesday, February 3) is an At-Home Learning Day. Students should login to Google Classroom to complete assigned work for the day. All teachers will be available on Google Meets from 10:30-11:30 a.m. to assist students. In addition, individual appointment times are available with teachers from 12:00-3:00 p.m.
