Mrs Rappe's Science students spent the week exploring the lipid content of food and modeling the flow of blood through normal and constricted arteries.










Today we had in special guests for our annual Senior Citizens lunch. It is so great to be able to do this for our community. Thank you so much to Mrs Ray and the kitchen staff, along with Mrs Warnick's Foods students, for preparing and helping with the meal. Also, thank you to Mr. Clark and the HS Band for performing.


High school and middle school PE classes are spending this Friday working on their line dancing skills!





Mr. Allen's 6th hour PE students took part in some heated Nitro Ball today. Fun to watch!

Unbelievable is the best way to describe this! I cannot express, enough, how grateful we are to all who donated to this year's MHS Let's Fill Santa's Sleigh toy drive. Thank you, Meridian, for showing your support to this cause and for showing what our school community is all about. We truly are Meridian!!!



Come out and support our girl's b-ball team tonight, at home, v. Riverton. National Honor Society members will be hosting the Salvation Army Red Kettle just inside the entrance. Fans attending tonight's game can donate their admission fee to this worthy cause! #WeAreMeridian

PSA- There is no home girls b-ball game tonight. Unfortunately, our opponent had to cancel after all of our schedules were printed.

In case you did not see previous posts, there is no boy's home game tonight.


MHS will be hosting its annual Senior Citizens Christmas lunch on Friday, December 15 at 1pm. If you or anyone you know would like to attend, please make reservations by this Friday, December 1. Reservations can be made by calling the high school office at 217-764-5233.

Robotics had a friendly competition of Clawbot Up and Over during class today.




As you get ready to enjoy your Thanksgiving on Thursday, please remember to tune in to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade to catch MHS Senior, Caden Ford, as he performs with the All-American Marching Band. We are so proud of Caden and can't wait to see him!! #WeAreMeridian
