Half of the 5th grade students spent the afternoon singing holiday favorites at the Eastern Star Home in Macon. The residents enjoyed listening to the students, and after they were finished, the students visited with the residents. This was part of the 5th grade “Afternoon of Service” to give back to our community.

Mr. Snively’s class learning the basics of computer programming and coding during Hour of Code, a nationwide initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of students to computer science and computer programming.

We had such a sweet act of kindness in our classroom today. This young lady has been sad about a toy that was damaged over the weekend. Her sweet friend chose to shop for her at Santa Shop today to try to make her feel better. #kindnesscounts #proudteachermoment
Tuesday's 5th grade music classes said goodbye to our Millikin student, Leah Wier with centers and games. We will miss you!!
Brrrr! It was a great day for some polar animal fun at playgroup! We will meet one last time this semester next Tuesday, 12/17, at 8:00 and 10:30am in room 150 at MES. Playgroup will resume in the new year on Tuesday, 1/7.
