Home Visit Day! Today we read a Valentines Day story, then did a white crayon/watercolor craft to work on name recognition. We ended the morning with some heart themed gross motor activities!

Due to extent of the winter weather at this time and continued travel concerns over the next 24 hours, Meridian will utilize an e-learning day for Friday February 4. Teachers will provide curriculum expecations. It will be considered a student attendance day and if your student is not able to "attend" please let your teacher(s) know. Unfortunately, due to the expected travel conditions, we will not be able to provide meal availability at either campus.

Reminder - tomorrow Friday, January 14th is an 11:30 dismissal and no school on Monday, January 17th.
Our first Little Hawks Home Visits took place today and the kiddos had a great time! We read 'The Color Monster' by Anna Llenas then the children got to help The Color Monster sort his 'feelings'. The future of MES is looking bright! :)
MES lunch menu change - Monday, Jan. 10th we will be serving cheese pizza instead of the garlic cheese bread. Everything else will stay the same.
Friday, January 14th will be an 11:30 dismissal. The district calendar listing that was provided at the beginning of the school year failed to include Friday, January 14 as an In-Service Day (11:10 dismissal for HS/MS & 11:30 dismissal for MES).
