For our K-5 1st quarter lesson Mrs. Rhodes visited all classrooms and talked about growth mindset. Having a positive attitude and believing in yourself. We read the book, "The Magical Yet" by Angela DiTerlizzi. Each student then came up with something they can't do (YET) and added it to our board. "So no matter how big (or old) you may get, you'll never outgrow-you'll never forget-you can always believe in the magic of yet."

Miss Stewart’s class had their first “Secret Scientist” teach a lesson on apple oxidation! While waiting to see the apple’s reaction to air, water, milk, and lemon, students got to enjoy an apple “donut.”
