Congratulations to 2024 graduate, Lleyton Miller, on being named to the Loghan Ratings Freshman All-American team! Lleyton ended his freshman season at Illinois College with 457 yards on just 48 carries, averaging an impressive 9.5 yards per carry!

The school district is in need of substitute custodians. If you are interested in making additional money please contact the district office at 217-764-5269. We offer paid training.
Meridian Elementary has an opening for a first grade teacher to begin the second semester.
Beginning last April, the district began a project to upgrade all classroom instructional technology which was 9-10 years old. Funded entirely through a grant, the district has invested $165,460 and has updated 54 classrooms with new instructional technology! Lower elementary classrooms received new 85" Smartboards, while upper grade levels are utilizing 75" displays with an iPad for the interactive component.
We would like to thank the Meridian Youth Basketball Leage for coming out last night to celebrate their success and hard work. Meridian Athletics is super excited about our future lady hawk sports!
