The Hawks defeated ALAH 11–6 today in the regional semifinal and will now travel to Warrensburg on Wednesday, September 23, to take on WL at 4:30 PM.

The Meridian Middle School baseball team picked up a big win last night, defeating Cerro Gordo/Bement 13-1 in the regional quarterfinals!
The Hawks will now travel to Warrensburg on Saturday for their semifinal matchup against ALAH. First pitch is at 12:30 PM.

A rare Thursday night game meant a late night for our football team, but the boys took care of business, defeating Metro East Lutheran 62-30 to move to 5-0 on the season!
The playoffs are getting closer, but there’s still work to be done. Next Friday, we’re back under the Friday night lights as we travel to face Unity Christian. Kickoff is at 7:00 PM.

Today, Meridian participated in the first-ever Macon County Golf Tournament in Moweaqua.
Congratulations to Wyatt Martin, who took home individual 1st place on the boys side with an impressive 73 over 18 holes!

The first day of tryouts will be October 19, but open gyms will be held throughout September and early October.
Players must have a current athletic physical on file to participate in open gyms and tryouts.

Congratulations to Brylee Britton from Meridian and Brylie Schmid from Vandalia , who were selected by their coaches as the IESA Sportsmanship Award recipients following Saturday's Regional Championship.
This award recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate a positive attitude toward teammates, opponents and officials, give their best effort, respect officials and display positive sportsmanship throughout the competition.
We are proud of the way these two athletes represented their schools today. Congratulations to both!

Congratulations to our quarterback, Bryce Brown, on being named the Sully’s Sports I8FA Player of the Week!
This is a great individual recognition, but it also reflects the hard work and energy our entire football program has brought to the season.
Our Hawks are 4-0, and there is a lot of excitement surrounding this team right now. We’re proud of the way our players and coaches have competed, and we’re looking forward to carrying that energy into Week 5.

Our MS Softball girls battled all the way to the Regional Championship this morning, but fell to Vandalia 1–10 to bring a great season to an end.
For much of the game, our girls were right there and within reach, but Vandalia was able to pull away late.
We are incredibly proud of this group and everything they accomplished this season. More importantly, we are proud of the way they represented Meridian.
And a special THANK YOU to Hawk Nation.
Our community showed up today and gave our girls an incredible crowd to play in front of. We appreciate everyone who came out to support them and cheer them on throughout the postseason.
Thank you, girls, for giving Hawk Nation another season to be proud of.
