The 7th & 8th grade bands will be returning to Busch Stadium on Sunday, September 8 to perform at the Cardinals vs. Mariners game! As a fundraiser for the Music Boosters, this is a fun opportunity to support the MMS music program while also enjoying some baseball with Meridian fans. The district is excited to announce that our current elementary school principal, Lori Guebert, will be changing roles next year. She will become the district's Special Education Administrator/Curriculum Director. In this role she will supervise and provide support throughout the special education department. Additionally, as Curriculum Director she will work with teachers to provide assistance and resources as the district will be taking on a comprehensive curriculum review and mapping process next school year. Mrs. Guebert will also work to align professional development for staff. As such, the district is accepting applications for the elementary school principal position.

The time of the regular March School Board meeting has been moved up one hour. The meeting will be Tuesday, March 19, at 5:30 p.m. in the district office.
The 8th grade volleyball team will play Staunton tonight at home in the 8-3A Sectional Championship. This game will be played in the high school gym at 6:30 p.m. Doors will be open at 5:30 p.m. Go Hawks!
