We have a short week of school this week before we kick off Spring Break! Students will be dismissed from Macon campus at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27. There is no school on Thursday, March 28 - Monday, April 1. Students will return for the final push through 4th quarter on Tuesday, April 2.
Students will enjoy a variety of enrichment activities planned by the teachers on Wednesday. This is an incentive day that was earned by working hard and giving their best effort during IAR testing. In addition, students are encouraged to wear their favorite baseball jersey or fan gear to help kick off the start of MLB season!
Elective forms will be emailed out to current 6th & 7th grade students on Tuesday, April 2. A list of courses offered was emailed out last week. Please have a discussion with your child on what class(es) will be the best fit for them!
8th graders will begin meeting with Mrs. Johnson during PE to schedule high school classes on April 3. The sheet that was handed out during 9th grade orientation should be turned in to her when they meet.
Friday, April 5 is the last day to order a copy of the 23/24 MMS yearbook. This is pre-order only, so make sure your child isn't left out in May by ordering a copy today! If you aren't sure if you ordered a copy already, you can email Mrs. Comerford (comerfordc@meridianhawks.net) to double check.
Track -
Monday: Track season will kick off with a home meet! The Hawks will host Pana, Stephen Decatur, Sullivan, Warrensburg, Decatur Montessori & Unity Christian starting at 4:00 p.m.
Scholastic Bowl -
Tuesday: Scholastic Bowl will host Central A&M and Monticello starting at 4:30 p.m.
