We are looking forward to the MMS Drama Club's production of The Little Mermaid Jr. this weekend! Tickets can be purchased online (https://meridianmiddleschooldr...) or at the door. We will also have special dress rehearsal shows this week during the school day for the elementary students and as a 3rd quarter positive behavior incentive for MMS. We are proud of these drama students and look forward to watching them shine on the stage!
The MJHS Induction Ceremony for new members will take place on Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the auditorium. The MMS doors will open at 1:00 p.m. for those planning to attend. There will be cupcakes immediately following the induction ceremony. Congratulations to our new inductees!
Our students will start IAR testing next week. The math portion of the yearly assessment will be given first thing in the morning on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. Students will be provided an alternate schedule so that they can still attend all classes each day. If an appointment needs to be scheduled for your child next week, please try your best to avoid first thing in the morning!
Has your child pre-ordered a copy of the 23/24 MMS yearbook yet? Thursday, April 4 is the final day to order a copy. The cost is $20.
Volleyball -
The 7th grade Lady Hawks advance to the IESA Regionals Semi-Final game tomorrow at Auburn Jr. High in Divernon! The Hawks will play Vandalia at 7:00 p.m.
The 8th grade volleyball team will start IESA Regionals on Saturday at North Mac Middle School in Girard. For the first round, the Lady Hawks will play Carlinville at 9:00 a.m.
