The food drive may be over, but we will continue to collect items for our 4-legged friends until Thanksgiving break. Pet donations can be dropped off in Mr. Bates’ room and will benefit the local Humane Society. Specific items requested can be found listed on the flyer handed out to students or online.
Social studies classes will have a Veteran guest speaker visit tomorrow. Students are encouraged to wear red, white, & blue.
Art Club will meet again tomorrow from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the art room. Anyone is welcome to attend and should have rides promptly ready for pick up at 3:30.
There will be a football meeting with Coach Sparks during study hall tomorrow in the MHS gym. This is for all 8th graders interested in playing football at the high school next year.
There will be a volleyball meeting during study hall with Coach Kirby on Thursday in the MMS gym. This is for current 6th - 8th grade girls interested in trying out for MMS volleyball this season. Tryouts will take place November 27-29 from 5-7 p.m.
Girls’ Basketball -
The 7th grade team will continue Regional play tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in Macon. They will be taking on Sullivan. Make plans to come cheer on our Hawks!
The 8th grade team will begin Regionals on Saturday in Tuscola. They will play Shelbyville at 12:30 p.m.
