We are quickly approaching the last day to purchase raffle tickets for our fall fundraiser, and we are SO close to reaching our goal of selling 1500 tickets! Tickets will be randomly selected daily in November for cash prizes of $25, $50, & $100! If you still need to purchase tickets, contact a current MMS student or call the office at 217-764-3367. If your child needs more tickets, they can let their homeroom teacher know. In addition, we need any tickets that your child won’t be selling returned so we can get them redistributed! Thanks for supporting MMS and for making this fundraiser a success!
Art Club is meeting again on Monday from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. in the art room.
The Student Council Socktober Sock Drive will continue the rest of the month. New pairs of socks of any size can be turned in to Mrs. Moyer and will be donated to Northeast Community fund at the end of the month to help those in need during the winter months.
Our annual Student Council Halloween dance is scheduled for Friday, October 20 from 7-9 p.m. This dance is for MMS students only. This event is free to attend, but students can bring money for concessions. Students are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes!
The end of the 1st quarter is also Friday! Printed report cards will be sent home on Wednesday, October 25 with all students.

Saturday: Conference Tournament Begins
Boys’ Basketball -
Tryouts will take place on Monday, October 16 and Tuesday, October 17 from 2:30 - 5:00 p.m. Don’t forget that all participants must have a current physical on file to tryout.
