We are so excited to welcome back our students on Wednesday for the 23/24 school year!! The Macon campus will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. for the first day of school.
If your child is a bus rider, please make sure they know which bus number they are riding so they are prepared for dismissal. As a reminder, our buses will drop off and pick up at the front of Meridian Middle School. Because of this, we ask all car riders to be dropped off at the high school entrance (back of the building). Cars should enter on the north drive (near the football complex) to avoid bus congestion. To ensure all students have plenty of time to get to 1st hour before class starts at 7:46 a.m., we are asking that everyone arrives no later than 7:40 a.m.
School pictures are scheduled for Monday, August 28. To order online, visit inter-state.com/order and use code 80140JB. All students will have a picture taken for school IDs and the yearbook.

Saturday: Round Robin Tournament at Casey; 1st game vs. Neoga at 9:00 a.m.
MMS Baseball:
Monday: Away vs. Maroa Forsyth; 4:15 p.m.
Tuesday: Home vs. Decatur Montessori; 4:15 p.m.
Thursday: Home vs. Argenta Oreana; 4:15 p.m.
MMS Girls Basketball:
The girls' basketball season will start on Monday, August 28. Practice/tryouts will take place in the MMS gym from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. There will be a sign up sheet located outside of Miss Herbert's classroom (science hallway). Girls interested in playing this season should sign up and should also register on 8to18 (https://meridianhawks.8to18.com/accounts/login).
