Students, Did you know you can choose your own photo for your yearbook cover? All students who have bought their 2025-2026 yearbook by the end of this week can submit a photo for their cover. Posters with detailed information are posted around the school–this is a limited time offer and will not be available after this week.
A reminder that prom tickets will be sold before school from 7:30 - 7:40 am and during study hall in front of Mrs. Hardeman's room. Remaining dates to pick up your ticket(s) are: today and then Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Tickets will not be available on Monday.
Multiple yearbook students competed in the IHSA Journalism Sectional competition on April 11. All participating students placed in at least one category. Aurelia A placed 6th in Advertising; Emy W placed 5th in Newspaper Design; Cierra B placed 5th in Review Writing; Grace M placed 4th in Yearbook Caption Writing; Addy M placed 4th in Copy Editing; and Eleanor M placed 4th in Editorial Writing. The following students are going to state next week for their placements: Eleanor M placed 2nd in News Writing; Aurelia A placed 2nd in Editorial Cartooning; Juliet C placed 2nd in Photo Story Telling; Emy W placed 1st in Yearbook Copy Writing; and Carson R and Celia R placed 1st in Yearbook Theme Development.
