For the last couple of days, 5th-grade students have been researching catastrophic events and presented to the class their findings. The criteria for this project were the following...
1) Discuss the region’s natural resources/environmental characteristics before the disaster.
2) Explain the catastrophic event.
3) How did life change after?
It was really fun watching the project come together but for me, the most exciting part is how the class worked in teams and understood the importance of teamwork!
