The Meridian CUSD #15 Pre-School program has been recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education as a school-based early childhood site that received the Gold Circle of Quality from ExceleRate Illinois, the state’s system for supporting continuous improvement among early learning providers. Programs are evaluated on teaching/learning, family and community engagement, leadership/management, and qualifications/continuing education.
The Gold Circle of Quality recognizes programs which have demonstrated quality on all standards, as validated by an independent assessor. Gold Circle programs meet or exceed specific quality benchmarks on learning environment, instructional quality, and all administrative standards; group size and ratios; qualifications; and professional development.
