MES HALLOWEEN PARADE & CLASSROOM PARTIES - Wednesday, October 31st

Meridian Elementary School will hold a Halloween parade and classroom parties on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. The parade will begin at 8:30am in the gym. Guests are welcome and should report directly to the gym bleachers that morning. Classroom parties will be after the parade.

Students are to come to school in complete costume. Since this is a school activity, student’s costumes should not be violent/scary in nature. Themes, associated with blood, gore, and violence are not appropriate. Costume accessories such as weapons (gun, spears, swords, knives) even if made of such material as plastic or paper are not allowed. No face painting/makeup. Students in inappropriate costumes will be asked to change. We encourage students to use their imaginations in creating fun and school appropriate costumes. Students will be taking costumes off before or after classroom parties so they should either have clothing on under their costume or bring clothing that they are able to change into themselves, without assistance.

If you do not want your child to participate in these activities and wish to keep your child at home, you may do so, but your child should come to school at 10:00 am to resume a normal day.
